he Fisher Educational Development Trust (FEDT) is a registered trust established by the GCU Old Boys Association to secure ownership of Government College Umuahia, restore it as a citadel of excellence, and ensure that it is managed and funded sustainably.
Overview
There are ten Trustees comprising eight old boys and two representatives of the Abia State government – the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, and the Chairman, Abia State School Management Board.
The Trustees will serve as the school’s governing council, providing strategic guidance and overseeing the school administration.
