Admission
Welcome to GCU
GCU has a legacy of academic excellence, so we are looking for boys who have an aptitude for learning, as seen in their ability to pass the GCU entrance examination and the subsequent oral interview.
We want boys eager to maximize all the opportunities GCU has to offer. We are admitting only JSS1/Year 7 students and to be eligible for admission, prospective students must be at least ten years of age by September in the year of admission. As a full boarding school, prospective students should be enthusiastic about the prospect of living with other boys in the boarding house.
Preserving the GCU Heritage
As a legacy school, we value family connections and encourage sons, grandsons and siblings of old boys to apply. Though these connections are not an automatic guarantee of admission, they will be considered in the decision-making process.
Siblings Discount
Parents/guardians with more than one son/ward enrolling in GCU are eligible for a discount on the second child’s fees. If a parent/guardian has more than two children/wards in GCU, the discount applies to only one child.
